Location of the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort

The main Sierra Nevada Ski station is situated in Monachil, 25 minutes from Granada, at the end of the highest road in Europe. There are several national and international airports near by: Granada, Malaga, Seville and Almeria. Train and buses are also an option.

The roads and motorways up to the Sierra Nevada are well maintained and you will often see grit bins around the higher ground to keep the infrastructure to and from the various ski resorts well maintained and clear for the busy ski season.
